Our senior management ma intain a strong rapport with the
investment community through proa ctive and regular investor
engagement initiatives. We are commi tted to delivering high levels
of transparency and disclosure by:
- Releasing accurate and relevant information to investors to
ensure they can make informed investment decisions.
- Providing regular access to senior management through one-
on-one meetings, presentations, property tours, conferences,
dedicated investor roadshows, conference calls and webcasts.
We adopt strong corporate governance inclu ding a policy that
ensures a minimum of two Dexus representatives pa rticipate in
any investor or sell-side analyst meetings an d that a record of
the meeting is maintained on an internal c ustomer relationship
management database.
During FY17, our senior manage ment together with the Investor
Relations (IR) team met with 200 investor/broker groups to
discuss the Group’s business strategy, operationa l and financial
performance. These contacts were un dertaken across a wide
range of investor activities including tel ephone calls, conferences,
roadshows, one-on-one meetings, dinners, investor briefings
and roundtables. We participated in inves tor conferences and
roadshows in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, London and
Japan. These conferences and road shows enabled access to
potential new investors and assisted with strengthen ing existing
relationships with long term investors.
Our IR team arranged tours of Dexus properti es with investors
and sell-side analysts to increase awarenes s of the quality of
the portfolio, Dexus’s active asset mana gement approach and
importantly where Dexus creates value. Dur ing FY17, we hosted an
Investor Day highlighting how we create value ac ross our many
business units and toured the new city retail p recinct at Gateway,
1 Macquarie Place, Sydney.
We regularly commission indep endent investor perception studies
to gather feedback from the institution al investment community.
These studies involve independ ent surveys and interviews
with institutional investors and sell-side an alysts to measure
investor perceptions on a number of attrib utes and report on
the findings. The results help the B oard and Executive team
understand the investment communi ty’s views and concerns and
assists in the enhancement of the gro up’s Investor Relations and
communications eorts.

Annual General Meeting
On Tuesday, 24 October 2017, commencing at 2.00pm, Dexus’s
Annual General Meeting (AGM) will b e held in Sydney. Details
relating to the meeting, including the ve nue location will be
provided to all investors in the Notice of Meeting. We invite you
to attend the AGM in person to meet the Board of Directors an d
members of the Executive team. The AGM wil l be webcast at
www.dexus.com for investors who are unable to atten d in person.
Distribution payments
Dexus’s payout policy is to distribute in line with f ree cash flow.
Distributions are paid for the six month p eriods to 31 December
and 30 June each year. Distribution statem ents are available in
print and electronic formats and dis tributions are paid via direct
credit into nominated bank accounts or by ch eque. To change
